Free Pizza If Super Bowl Record Broken
It's not going to be an easy record to break. It was set during the 2007 Super Bowl when the first touchdown was scored at only 14 seconds into the game. That's when the Chicago Bears returned the opening kickoff 92 yards for the first touchdown of the game. However, it was the Indianapolis Colts who went on to win the Super Bowl, 29-17.
Well, if the first touchdown is scored in less than 14 seconds into Super Bowl LII, Pizza Hut will give away free medium two-topping pizzas. There is a catch though. In order to collect your pizza, you have to be a Pizza Hut Loyalty rewards member. They have a place to join on their webpage, pizzahut.com.
According to cnbc.com, the struggling pizza chain has been offering incentives since the beginning of the year in order to increase its market share. Pizza Hut began their loyalty rewards program last year and the news website says the YUM brands pizza division has shown some signs of growth. Their biggest competitor is Dominos.
In the Southcoast area, Pizza Hut has locations on State Road in Dartmouth, on GAR Highway in Somerset, and at 224 Broadway in Taunton. Their Fairhaven restaurant closed several years ago.
