Foxboro’s Patriot Place Is Bringing Back Its Pop-Up Drive-In
The popular drive-in series that made its debut last year during the COVID-19 pandemic is officially coming back for its sequel season.
It was a big deal across the SouthCoast when Showcase Cinema de Lux Patriot Place in Foxboro debuted its pop-up series last year. At that point, all other drive-ins were over an hour away from the SouthCoast, which is quite the trek after a night full of popcorn, candy and a movie (or two) under the stars with the fam.
This year, the theater will be hosting its drive-in movie series throughout May and June, with a total of seven family-friendly movies just outside of Gillette Stadium.
Here's a look at the upcoming lineup of movies hitting the pop-up big screen at Patriot Place.
- May 15: "Trolls World Tour"
- May 21: "The Goonies"
- May 28: "Despicable Me"
- May 29: "Jurassic Park"
- May 30: "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"
- June 4: The Lego Movie"
- June 5: "The Karate Kid"
Tickets cost $25 per vehicle and are available, along with concession pre-sales, through the Showcase app. All shows will start at sunset, or around 8:30 p.m, and gates will open at 7:30 p.m. so you can get the perfect spot for your night at the drive-in.
