Drive-in theaters have seen a drastic decline across America over the past few decades, but when COVID shut down nearly everything last year, drive-in movies actually began to make quite the comeback. And since we're still in the midst of a pandemic, there's never been a better time to get out and enjoy a night at the drive-in.

The Rustic Tri View Drive-In in North Smithfield, Rhode Island is back for its 2021 season, opening with three double-feature showings this weekend. One of the screens will Mortal Kombat and Monster Hunter, another will show Godzilla vs Kong and Wonder Woman 1984, and the final screen will show Tom & Jerry, followed by The Croods: New Age. The first set of movies will start at 7:50 p.m. and the second round is expected to start between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m., depending which screen you choose.

Of course, it wouldn't be a movie night without the snacks! Rustic Tri View offers a full concession stand, and now, even features a soft serve ice cream shop. #Goals, am I right?

You'll want to pack the whole family in the car for your trip up to the drive-in. Admission is $27 per vehicle, no matter if you're planning on coming in a car or SUV. Campers, RVs, and oversized vehicles will have an additional charge, though.

While there isn't currently an official drive-in theater on the SouthCoast, the Rustic Tri View Drive-In is one of the closest, and luckily, it's just a short trip west on I-195 and north on Route 146.

You can read more about Rustic Tri View and get your tickets to this weekend's showings on the drive-in's website.
