We all could use a little help sometimes. Even New Bedford Police Sgt. Victor Mendes.

Mendes let a little boy wear his vest and help him direct traffic outside Keith Junior High School Wednesday night. The New Bedford Police Association  was hosting a magic show that "raises money to help with funeral expenses for fallen officers and to assist their families."
