A school in Fall River will be closing down today, less than two weeks before students are supposed to return to school.

According to WPRI, Fall River’s Stone School will be shut down due to several “structural issues.”

The district has hired a contractor to make necessary repairs to the school before the start date on September 9th.

About 50 students attend the Stone School from grades six through eight.
