FALL RIVER — Fall River Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a purse snatching that occurred in the city.

According to police, on March 1 at approximately 4:53 p.m., an individual stole a purse from a 70-year-old woman as she was exiting the Seabra Supermarket located at 440 Stafford Road.

The suspect was last seen running west on Duncan Street from Stafford Road.
