
Fall River Students Briefly Shelter in Place for Report of Man With Gun
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — A Fall River school was asked to shelter in place earlier today following a report of a person with a gun in the area of the school.
According to Fall River Police, there was a report earlier today of a male with a gun in the waistband of his pants in the area of Amity Street near the Henry Lord Community School.
Police said an officer assigned to a detail at Bennie Costa Plaza nearby was alerted to the situation, and as a precaution, the school was asked to shelter in place while officers investigated.

Police said the individual was never on school grounds, and that there is no threat to students.
No other information was provided.
