This Saturday is John Hancock Fenway Fantasy Day and one young Fall River Red Sox fan will be taking the field at the legendary park.

Seven-year-old Layla Flint is one of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute patients who will get to play at Fenway this Saturday thanks to fans that donated money to the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber.

For Layla that means a chance to swing the bat, run the bases and even visit the locker room.

According to the Fall River Herald, Layla was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on January 16.

She'll be part of the day long event at Fenway which runs from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Layla will be taking her swings from home plate around 2:30 p.m. according to the Herald.
