FALL RIVER (WBSM) — An 18-year-old male was killed this morning in a fatal shooting on Rock Street in Fall River.

At approximately 11:40 a.m., Fall River Police arrived on Rock Street and found an 18-year-old male who had sustained gunshot wounds. The victim was treated on scene and transported to St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, where he later died from his injuries.

He was identified by the Bristol County District Attorney's Office as Colus Jamal Mills-Good of Fall River.

The incident is being investigated by the Fall River Police Department Major Crimes Division in collaboration with the State Police Detective Unit.

Police will remain in the immediate area for the next several days, they said.
