Sometimes the smallest of gestures makes the biggest impact.

When Katie Motta of Fall River ordered DoorDash with her fiancé, she received an unexpected note with her food order that made her entire day.

And it turns out that Katie isn’t the only household that received a sweet note from a DoorDash driver named Tony.

“My fiancé and I ordered from DoorDash just before the holidays and with our order was this card from our driver!” said Motta online.

It was a simple holiday greeting card that depicted a snow-covered home adorned with holiday fixtures.

The inside of the card read, “Wishing you and your family a safe and happy holiday season- Door Dash Driver Tony.”

“It made our whole day, even coming from a total stranger,” said Motta.

It appears Tony was on a mission to spread kindness during the holidays. After Motta posted her card online, other families chimed in about their own experiences.

“This happened to me too like 3 weeks ago from the same DoorDash driver. That was such a sweet thing to do,” said one comment.

“That happened to me as well. They don’t realize how something so small can make your day,” said another.

For Tony, it was a simple gesture of love and appreciation. For everyone else, it was a beautiful reminder of the power of kindness and the importance of community.

Bravo, Tony! Here’s to hoping you had a safe and happy holiday season, too.
