This Wednesday has gone to the dogs.

Fun 107’s Wet Nose Wednesday is all about uniting loving animals with the perfect home. There are hundreds of animals up for adoption on the SouthCoast that are patiently waiting to go home for good. With the help of local shelters, Fun 107 shares the story of these loving animals, giving the spotlight to one lucky pet each week.

This week, we head to Fall River where a 4-year-old chihuahua has a heavy heart, but a beautiful personality.

Meet Charlotte. This girl had a place to call home once, but her family was forced to surrender her to Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River when her family could no longer keep her. Now, the shelter is hoping to find her a new home and a new start.

“Charlotte is a happy little girl and appears to get along well with other animals,” the shelter said. “She would do great with an adult couple or single person as a companion, or with a family with older children.”

She’s a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she’ll shower you with love and become the perfect best friend.

Charlotte is fixed and up to date with her vaccines. All that’s left to do is find her a forever home.

Does she sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Forever Paws Animal Shelter to schedule an appointment.
