Fall River Dog Surrendered After Owner Was Too Allergic [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Wet Nose Wednesday on Fun 107 continues to work together with local shelters in hopes of connecting adoptable pets with loving families. Each week, Michael and Maddie highlight an animal that is up for adoption on the SouthCoast in hopes of getting that animal out of the shelter for good. This week, a five-year-old Akita needs our help.
Meet Winter. She was surrendered to Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River due to allergies that could not be managed any longer.
Winter is a sweet, easy-going girl that is ready to love anyone who will let her. She would thrive at a house with a fenced-in yard and would do best as the only dog because she loves being the center of attention. However, there are few exceptions.
“We would consider a male companion if it was a perfect match,” said the shelter.
Dogs deserve to find love, too.
Winter would be perfect for an active family that enjoys activities like walking, hiking, or biking. The shelter recommends that children be at least twelve years of age in the home.
Winter is up to date with vaccines and is ready to go to a great home. If she sounds like a good fit for your home, visit their website. Families can also contact Arianna Silva, director of Forever Paws, by emailing her at asilva@foreverpaws.com.
Let’s find Winter her forever home.
