The former site of EJ's Restaurant is soon to be an Irish pub.

Owner Drew Tillett tells Fun 107 that he's hoping Cleary’s Pub will be up and running by November 1st, but says that the date hinges upon license transfers.  Tillet has hired Jason Besse as Cleary's culinary chef, while hiring for all other positions is set to begin next week.  Besse plans on highlighting things like smoked chicken wings, pork belly sandwiches, and shepherd’s pie on the menu.

Cleary's Pub will be taking the location of the former EJ's location.  This is the latest project of Drew Tillett, the name Clearly's is a tribute to Drew's step-father, he was a local businessman who loved food and drinks with his family and friends. Jason Besse will be taking over all culinary things at Cleary's Pub.

Look for renovations to take place over the course of the next month, or so.  Tillett says he'll try to "tone down" the bright colors of the former EJ's dining room to give it a more cozy, warm feel.
