Yummy New Bakery Has Officially Opened in Fairhaven

A new bakery has popped up in Fairhaven and it is the new destination for homemade sweets and treats.

What started as a passion project is now a full-fledged business, and Elizabeth Khoury is thrilled to expand her passion at Sweet Lizzie’s Bake Shop on Main Street.

Meet Elizabeth Khoury

Elizabeth Khoury has always found joy in baking. Every holiday, she would give her friends and family a box of homemade cookies, and she soon gained a reputation for her delicious baked goods.

“During COVID, I started baking for friends and family and it just got bigger and bigger,” she said. “I rented a kitchen space at Hope & Main in Warren, got my business license, and then found the perfect space in Fairhaven. The rest is history.”

What to Expect at Sweet Lizzie’s

Sweet Lizzie’s is all about homemade goodies and great coffee.

“We have all kinds of cookies, croissants on the weekends, chourico rolls, cake pops, muffins, and more,” said Khoury.

The New Bedford native still rents out her kitchen in Warren to make all of her menu items, and she brings fresh batches to her new storefront.

“It feels amazing,” she said. “I have these ‘pinch me’ moments where I can’t believe it’s happening.”

Stop in for fresh baked goods and a delicious latte or place a custom order for a special event.

Homemade cookies, cappuccinos, espresso, lattes, and more. Sweet Lizzie's is the sweet treat you've been craving.

“They are the best cookies in town,” said Khoury.
