Wet Nose Wednesday is here again, so let's talk pets.

Shelters all over the SouthCoast are filled with animals that hope to find their forever family, and with so much love to give, these animals deserve to go home to a family that will love them back.

Thanks to the help of local shelters, we are able to share the stories of these beautiful pets in hopes of finding the perfect fit.

This week, we shine a spotlight on a pit bull puppy in Fairhaven that is filled with love, cuddles and personality.

Meet Genesis, a 5-year-old pit bull puppy. She loves everyone she meets.

"She is an absolute ham for the camera," said the shelter, so get ready for incredibly cute photo opportunities.

Genesis loves people, but other dogs, not so much. She will do best in a home where she is the only pet. She has a lot of love to give and wants to be the center of attention.

With a face like hers, it will be easy to love her.

She loves to play catch, but don't expect her to give the ball back right away. Genesis would benefit from training, and with a little love and attention, she could be the perfect companion for an active family with older children.

Does Genesis sound like a good fit for you? Contact Fairhaven Animal Shelter, like them on Facebook and schedule a play date today.
