
Fairhaven High School Vandalized in Weekend Break-In, Police Investigating
FAIRHAVEN (WBSM) — Fairhaven Police are investigating a break-in that occurred at Fairhaven High School this past weekend.
Late-Night Break-In Discovered
According to police, the break-in occurred at about 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 16. They said multiple individuals broke into the school, located at 12 Huttleston Ave, through a window.
Historic Woodwork Damaged Inside Classroom
Once inside, they “vandalized historical woodwork on the wall within a classroom,” police said.

Surveillance Footage Reviewed, Charges Pending
Fairhaven Police detectives are working with Fairhaven Public Schools officials on the investigation. They are using surveillance footage and conducting interviews to identify the suspects.

Once the suspects have been identified, police said they plan to file charges in New Bedford District Court.
