UPDATE: Griffin has found a forever home! Thank you to the FUN107 community for making this happen.

Every pet deserves to find a family that will love them unconditionally. With the help of local animal shelters, I am making it my mission to get as many pets adopted on the SouthCoast as possible by showcasing pets in the area that are ready for adoption.

There are so many beautiful and loyal pets that are ready to go home once and for all. This week for Wet Nose Wednesday, get ready to fall in love with Griffin.

Griffin is a six-month-old cat residing at the Fairhaven Animal Shelter. Dropped off at just four months old, she has proven herself to be a loving little feline. When she was younger, she suffered from an eye infection, so when the shelter had to treat her eyes once a day, she became a little nervous around people. However, she is fully healthy now and would do best in a quiet home with older children, if any.

Griffin loves to be around other cats. Fairhaven Animal Control Officer Terry Cripps explained how “she can have a little cattitude when she wants to, but once she trusts you, she will love you forever.”

She was recently spayed and is up to date on all of her vaccines. All that is left to do is find her forever home.

Call the Fairhaven Animal Shelter at (508) 979-4028, and find them on Facebook.

Do you know of someone who would love to have Griffin in their life? Spread the word about her and Wet Nose Wednesday. Check back each week to stay up to date on adoptable pets in the area.
