As Hurricane Jose continues North, Chelsea Priest is expecting it to be downgraded to a tropical storm before it reaches our neck of the woods. Chelsea is, however, still calling for wind gusts as strong as 50-65 MPH...with the strongest winds on the Cape and Islands. We're also expecting between 2 and 4 inches of rain. While we are not expecting widespread outages, we do expect some people to lose power across the Southcoast. Whether you are an Eversource or a National Grid customer, here are a couple of links you'll want to have handy.  They will show where the communities that are being affected by outages, the number of outages, and the expected time before power will be restored.
