Enjoying Our Last Twinkies Before Hostess Goes Out Of Business

Say it isn't so. This morning Hostess Brands Inc, the maker of Twinkies, Ho Ho's and Wonder Bread said it will ask a bankruptcy judge for permission to liquidate after failing to obtain wage and benefit cuts from thousands of its bakery workers.  

No more Twinkies?  How can it be?   This great American snack has been around since the 1930's.  The golden sponge cake with the creamy filling is something we all grew up with.  And that classic Wonder Bread wrapper with the colorful balloons will be missed at the supermarket.

Time to stock up on as many Twinkies as you can afford.  Rumor has it, these things will last forever.
