A land, air and sea search continues this morning for a missing duck hunter in Fairhaven. The 21-year-old Marion man has been identified as Dana Dourdeville. His mother says he left home with his kayak at about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon to go duck hunting. When Dourdeville didn't return by sunset, his mother drove to the West Island town beach lot and found his parked vehicle...but not her son or his red, 9-foot kayak.

That unoccupied kayak was found by the Coast Guard late last night floating in the water about 3 miles offshore between West Island and Falmouth. Inside the kayak was a single glove. The glove was dry and it did not appear as though the kayak had flipped at any point in time.

Dourdeville, a former ORR High School track star, is described as a thin, white male, about 5-feet 10-inches tall, with brown hair. He was reported to have been wearing brown sweatpants and a red life jacket.

According to Fairhaven police, there is no change in the search status as of this morning.

Dourdeville was heavily recruited by the track teams at Yale University and Brown University, before settling on the Rhode Island Ivy League school.
