The New Bedford Fire Department had to break out the jaws of life to rescue  a puppy stuck in a porch railing.

According to the NBFD's Facebook page, several dogs were running loose on Circuit Street yesterday when one of them ran up on a porch and managed to get stuck in an iron railing.

The dog was so wedged in there that Animal Control and the Fire Department had to use the jaws of life to break him free.

Luckily the dog made it out with no injuries and the other dogs he was running around with were contained safely in a neighbor's yard.
