Disney’s Frozen Live Part of Spectacular New Season at PPAC
For all the parents who have watched Frozen and Frozen II dozens of times, prepare for the live show.
Next March, Providence Performing Arts Center will welcome the stage version of this modern Disney favorite as part of its 2023/2024 Broadway Series. Yes, there will be plenty of matinee performances.
The iconic theater announced the outstanding schedule of shows coming next season and it's a lineup that theater fans of all ages are going to want to see for sure.
Though there are several more Broadway touring shows passing through PPAC before the current season is over, the amazing stage shows are non-stop because a new season kicks off next September with Funny Girl.
Former Glee star Lea Michele is keeping her starring role in this Broadway hit through the summer, though we don't yet know who gets the lead role for the traveling performances.
Following Funny Girl will be Mrs. Doubtfire in October (which my teen-self is super excited about), How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical just after Thanksgiving in November, Moulin Rouge through the holidays in December, Ain't Too Proud to Beg next January, Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird next February, Frozen next March and ending with the winner of five Tony Awards, Company next April.
We'll laugh, we'll cry, we'll all sing along with "Let It Go" during the amazing 2023/2024 season ahead at the Providence Performing Arts Center.
