Agent Hank Shrader has entered the chat.

Breaking Bad star Dean Norris seems to be a big fan of Nashville hot chicken.

A new hot chicken spot is coming soon to New Bedford and the actor turned restaurant owner gave Anthony Huynh and Vivian Chow a big endorsement ahead of their opening day.

Dean Norris Congratulates Birdie’s in New Bedford

“I wanted to congratulate you guys on opening another Birdie’s Hot Chicken in New Bedford,” said Norris in a video posted to Birdie’s Instagram. “I was just in Boston, I (expletive) love Nashville hot chicken.”

Norris couldn’t resist throwing in some Breaking Bad humor into his congratulatory video.

“I hear it’s as good as Los Pollos Hermanos, just as long as you’re doing the right things with those profits, you know what I’m saying?” he joked.

Norris took over a barbecue spot in California last year, so he knows firsthand how hard it is to get a business up and running. An endorsement from him goes a long way.

“I’ll eat there the next time I’m in Boston,” he said.

While Birdie’s has a successful spot in Boston, here’s to hoping that Agent Shrader makes the trip over to the New Bedford location as well.

When Is Birdie’s Hot Chicken Opening in New Bedford?

In August, Anthony Huynh shared what the SouthCoast could expect from his family-owned business.

"Expect really good chicken," he said. "We're foodies, so we would never sell anything that we wouldn't eat ourselves."

From no spice to "Grim Reaper," Birdie's will cover all levels of hot. Huynh hopes to have the doors open by the end of the year.

For now, follow them on Instagram and start crafting your first future order.
