Dartmouth High Grad Donates $3K to Launch Turning Point USA Chapter
Since Charlie Kirk's assassination on the Utah Valley University campus in Orem, Utah, on September 10, 2025, and a vow from his widow, Erika Kirk, to carry on with her late husband's work, there have been nearly 54,000 requests for information about forming Turning Point USA (TPUSA) chapters in high schools and colleges across America.
Dartmouth High Graduate Pledges $3K to Launch Turning Point USA Chapter
A 1974 graduate of Dartmouth High School has offered to donate money to launch a chapter at his alma mater.
"I like what Turning Point USA represents," said Tony Luizinho, a former member of the Dartmouth High School Band, who now lives in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Tony Luizinho: From SouthCoast Businesses to Political Giving
Luizinho had multiple local business ventures on the SouthCoast, including Factory of Terror in Fall RIver.
"I just want to make a $3,000 donation to Dartmouth High School's first chapter of Turning Point USA," Luizinho said. "I just like what they stand for."
Luizinho is urging "leaders" at Dartmouth High School to contact Turning Point USA to get started. TPUSA has an online form for those interested in starting a local chapter.

Local Politician Joe Pires Supports Tri-Town TPUSA Expansion
Local businessman and politician Joe Pires responded to Luizinho's challenge for others in the area to follow his lead by working to establish local TPUSA chapters. Pires said he will explore the idea in the Tri-Town area that consists of Rochester, Marion and Mattapoisett.
Luizinho Says Small Donations Can Help Start TPUSA Chapters
Luizinho said he wants to "make a statement" by donating $3,000, but says others can "start it with $500 or $100" or whatever they have.
Luizinho said he likes what Charlie Kirk stood for, "his message and grounded principles." He said TPUSA can "fill a void in the souls" of kids with little to do other than "go on the wrong road, the slippery slope."
Anyone interested in working with Luizinho to establish a TPUSA chapter at Dartmouth High School can email him at tonypga555@gmail.com.
