It is officially Fall and as the leaves start to change you want to be out enjoying the crisp air with family and friends. From apple picking to pumpkin patches and everything in between, New England has a lot offer this time of year and my personal favorite is a good, old fashioned corn maze. So where can you find one near you?

All along the South Coast there are farmers turning their fields into acres of corn maze where people can go to get lost. Here are some of the corn mazes that are just a short drive away.

    Billingsgate Farm in Plympton, MA

A short drive off the South Coast takes you to Billingsgate Farm where so much fall fun is happening. They have a three-and-a-half acre corn maze that is pirate themed this year, plus flashlight nights where you can go through in the dark! There's also a second corn maze just for kids themed to Jack and the Beanstalk that is fun and educational for the little ones. Add in the farm stand, wagon rides, pumpkin patch and even live music and you've got a great reason to take the ride this fall.

    Sauchuk Farm in Plympton, MA

Another great day trip to Plympton is Sauchuk Farm at 53 Palmer Rd. There are activities to fill the entire day here, including their acres of corn field turned into two different mazes. Shaped like a tractor and a giant pepper, you can play games inside the corn maze. Or wait to play games, take a hayride, pick a pumpkin or ride the pedal carts after the mazes. Plus Sauchuk has these corn cannons that shoot ears of corn at targets and they look awesome!
