Connecticut Casino Holding ‘Survivor’ Casting Call
Do you have what it takes to Outwit, Outplay and Outlast the competition? That's what producers of the hit show Survivor want to know.
Season 48 of the hit CBS show premieres on February 26, 2025 but before you watch, you can apply to be on an upcoming season. Yes, they're making more. I suppose once you reach 48 seasons you at least have to reach 50, right?
Anyone looking to be on camera while in a competition of survival can head to Mohegan Sun for a casting call on Thursday March 13 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

All contestants must be 18 years or older at the time of registration and meet their eligibility requirements which are pretty straightforward. You must be a citizen of either the United States of Canada, have a valid passport, be in good health, yadda yadda.

25 Years of "Survivor"
Survivor premiered in the new millennium on May 31, 2000. I remember it well. A group of people thrust onto a rainy, bug-filled, fireless island with only the clothes on their backs, a luxury item and whatever they can could find for food (with the exception of some rice which was provided for them).
It was the first time I saw people eating live bugs, alliances be formed (and named, for that matter) and Rhode Island's Richard Hatch bearing it all. Luckily, it was both a first and last for the latter.
Throughout the past 47 seasons of the award-winning show, there have been many contestants representing New England and I'm sure we haven't seen the last of them.
