Dove chocolates in festive snowflake shapes have been pulled from Walmart shevles due to allergy concerns.

The FDA says Mars, the makers of Dove Chocolate Assortment Snowflakes, is recalling 6,700 cases of the holiday candy because they may contain pieces of the companies other candies.

Apparently bits of Snickers, Twix and Milky Way may have gotten into the Dove bags. And because these other candies contain allergens like eggs, peanuts and wheat not listed on Dove's packaging, they need to be recalled immediately.

The Dove Chocolate Snowlflakes are only sold at Walmart in 24-oz bags.

This item was shipped and distributed to only one retailer and sold at retail food stores starting September 19, 2015 through December 1, 2015.

Massachusetts and Rhode Island are among states the recalled Dove candies were sold in as well as: AZ, GA, MS, OH, VA, CA, IA, MD, NH, OK, VT, CO, IL, ME, NJ, OR, WA, CT, IN, MI, NM, PA, WI, DE, KS, MN, NV, WY, FL, KY, MO, NY and TX.
