Boston Calling is just a few weekends away and several acts have just bowed out.

There have been some changes to the performers coming to the Harvard Athletic Complex later this month for Boston Calling.

Both Janelle Monae and Black Star have bowed out of the weekend long event along with Boston-bred singer Sasha Sloan and Scottish rappers Young Fathers.

Black Star noted "unforeseen circumstances" when they backed out in March and Janelle Monae posted on Facebook about a "scheduling conflict."

Both Friday and Saturday were going to be affected by these departures, but several new acts have now been added. And they are good ones.

Lil Nas X and Chvrches are probably the bigger of the new names of the bill. But Betty Who and Bear Hands will also be performing.

Lil Nas X has the apparently unavoidable hit "Old Town Road" rapidly climbing the charts right now, so adding them is bound to add more ticket sales.

And yes you can still get tickets.

If you're not planning to go for the entire three-day concert event, Lil Nas X and Betty Who will be on the Saturday roster. Chvrches and Bear Hands will be part of the Friday lineup.

The main headliners, Twenty One Pilots on Friday, Tame Impala on Saturday and Travis Scott on Sunday are all still a part of the show.
