Casey Affleck Reps Dartmouth Sweatshirt for New Dunkin’ Commercial
Thank goodness Matt Damon and Casey Affleck can act because they certainly don’t know how to rob a store.
Damon and Affleck are the stars of the new action comedy-drama The Instigators and they brought their characters to life in a Boston Dunkin’ with a stick-up gone wrong.
Casey Affleck and Matt Damon Film at Dunkin’
“I got good news and bad news. The good news is your shift’s over, the bad news is you’re getting robbed," a hooded Affleck says with a paper bag over his hand.
The Dunkin’ employee behind the counter, totally unfazed, takes the paper bag to reveal Affleck’s hand, weaponless.
“Two Instigators, huh?” the employee says to Affleck and Damon.
With their plans foiled, the “instigators” put in their Dunkin’ orders — a Boston Cream and a large regular for Damon.
“How 'bout you, Dartmouth, you good?” the employee says to Affleck, sporting a Dartmouth College sweatshirt.
“Strawberry frosted,” he mumbled.
In the film, Damon and Affleck are two robbers on the run with the help of their therapist. In real life, it appears their biggest enemy is two Dunkin’ employees who just want to get through the shift.

Easter Eggs in the New Dunkin’ Promo
Back in December, Damon and Affleck were spotted filming in Quincy where Affleck was rocking the Dartmouth sweatshirt. With a movie based in Boston, that has to be a UMass Dartmouth sweatshirt, right? Wrong.
Looks like Affleck's character went to school in New Hampshire, or maybe stole a sweatshirt from there.
And those Dunkin’ employees? They’re popular content creators Tommy Guarino and The Prosciutto Papi, best known for their funny skits in a Boston-based deli.
Looks like Dunkin' called upon Boston's best for their latest promo.
The Instigators is in theaters now and available on Apple TV+.
