CARVER (WBSM) — A 69-year-old man was seriously injured Tuesday morning when his motorcycle was involved in a crash with a car.

The crash happened around 10:35 a.m. on September 3 at the intersection of South Meadow Road and Ward Street. The motorcycle rider, a Carver resident, was taken by ambulance to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth and later flown by medical helicopter to a Boston hospital.

The 75-year-old Carver woman who was driving the 2022 Toyota Camry remained on scene and was cooperative, police said.

Carver and State Police are investigating. The Carver Fire Department also responded to the scene to assist.
