Canoeing Night Out Leads to the Discovery of a Dead Body

TAUNTON, Mass.

Police said on Saturday, May 20, two people canoeing discovered a dead body in the Taunton River. Unfortunately, the body seemed to be in the river for some time.

When officials came to the scene from Power Street, they saw the body at bank and said the body was that of a man in his mid-40s.

Taunton and State Police are investigating the matter.
