Buttonwood Park Zoo’s Art Created by Animals Is Being Auctioned to Spruce up Your Walls
If you consider yourself an art connoisseur of sorts, then perhaps it's time to expand your collection with some masterpieces that are like no other.
Over in New Bedford, at Buttonwood Park Zoo, are a group of animals who have been trained to create masterful paintings that are one-in-a-million, bar none.
The zoo introduced the 2022 ZOOLALA Auction last week to raise money for Buttonwood Park Zoological Society. Here, you'll be able to bid on art that was created by red pandas, sloths and various other tenants of Buttonwood.
Along with these paintings, you'll also get to bid on VIP experiences for SouthCoast happenings and experiences, including:
- A behind-the-scenes encounter with a red panda
- A behind-the-scenes- encounter with a seal
- A VIP encounter with a sloth
- A VIP behind-the-scenes tour and mystery encounter
- Signature massages
- Exquisite dining experiences
- Boston sports tickets and memorabilia
"Take a bid on the wild side," the zoo says playfully. Doing so will protect endangered wildlife help support the future of the zoo.
As of Monday, the zoo was approaching 20% of its $50,000 goal.
Bidding will end on June 30 at 8 p.m.
Happy bidding and may luck be on your side -- your wild side, that is.
