January Shooting at Hibachi Sushi in Brockton
The incident dates back to January 12 when police were dispatched to Hibachi Sushi Supreme Buffet on Crescent Street for reports of a shooting inside the restaurant.
The victim, identified as Joe Araujo, 22, of Brockton, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, where he was later pronounced dead.
During that time, police spoke with witnesses and collected surveillance footage of the shooting captured on the restaurant cameras.
The footage reveals Bazile dropping a to-go box, pulling out a firearm and shooting Araujo three times, striking him twice, according to the DA.
Police said they searched Veiga's home, where they located clothing Bazile was wearing at the time of the shooting and a large amount of suspected fentanyl.
Bazile was found at a home in Hyannis, where he was taken into custody. He was also found with a 9mm Smith & Wesson firearm loaded with four rounds of ammunition, according to the DA.
The pair will be arraigned on the charges in Brockton Superior Court.
