If you're a theatre lover, than you might find this news to be pretty disappointing. Broadway musical 'Mamma Mia!' will soon be no more.

All good things must come to an end as they say and after 14 years on Broadway, 'Mamma Mia!' will close the curtain for the final time later this year. The shows final performance will be September 5, 2015. At that time, Mamma Mia! will have had 5,765 performance.

If you've never seen the musical, you probably at least know it's full of ABBA music from beginning to end. The story is about a young girl who is planning on getting married and wants her father to walk her down the aisle. The problem is, there are three potential men that could be her dad and she doesn't know which one is, so she invites them all to her wedding, unbeknownst to her mother, making for a very awkward situation!

Customers who bought tickets to performances that have now been cancelled will be contacted by broadway.com with info on refunds or exchanges.

I am a HUGE theatre fan.  I absolutely love going to see musicals at places like the Zeiterion Theatre and Providence Performing Arts Center.  With that being said, I'm sorry, but I hated 'Mamma Mia!'  It is the only show I've ever seen that I didn't like!  I thought the costumes were awesome, very colorful, which I loved!  I thought the singing was fun, I'm not a big ABBA fan, but I didn't mind the music.  It was the storyline that I just did not enjoy at all whatsoever.  I stayed for the whole performance to give it a chance, but nope, by the end I was not won over unfortunately.  As much of a theatre lover as I am, I guess you can't love 'em all!
