Bristol’s Blithewold Mansion Kicks Off Daffodil Days 2021
Nothing says spring like fields full of flowers, and that is just what you'll see soon at Blithewold Mansion in Bristol.
If you have never been to this historic estate with 33 acres of gardens, then you are missing out.
The site is scenic, serene and stunning.
And seeing it full of the first gorgeous yellow blooms of spring is a fantastic way to enjoy the season.
I can completely admit that I am a huge nature nerd. Anything outdoors, in the sunshine, is my total jam and I love experiencing it with my two young girls as well.
Lucky for me, they love it, too.
Flowers seem to be our favorite, though.
Year after year, we find as many pick-your-own flower farms to visit as we can and pick away at each and every one, and starting the season at Blithewold is always on our list.
With daffodils as some of the first spring flowers, the Daffodil Days event is like the start of our flower hunt season, too.
This year, you can walk the fields of 50,000 yellow blooms from April 9 through May 16.
You can even book an afternoon tea, concert or workshop for you and your friends among the daffodils and make a whole event out of it.
Or just go by yourself, and enjoy the beauty of the first spring blooms and get some much-needed peace of mind after a very crazy year.
However you want to enjoy the daffodils, just make sure that you get your tickets before you go because acres and acres of daffodils just shouldn't be missed.
