
Bravo’s Andy Cohen Says ‘Don’t Mess With Folks From Rhody’
The Real Housewives franchise is expanding to Rhode Island. While many locals are looking forward to having their state in the spotlight, others may be questioning the choice.
The new addition to the Housewives was confirmed in May. Since then, there's been plenty of speculation on the upcoming cast and lots of hype from Executive Producer Andy Cohen.

Don't Mess With Rhody Women
Cohen appeared on a recent episode of The View where he sat down with the hosts to discuss the new show.
When it came to a description of the crew, Cohen said simply, "you don't mess with folks from Rhody."

This isn't the first time Andy Cohen has spoken highly of the Ocean State. In another interview with Page Six, Cohen shared "Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap, and it's an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections. I think it's really going to surprise people."
Italian Roots in Lil' Rhody
"I don't think a lot of people realize what a really Italian community Rhode Island is," Cohen said. Many of the hosts agreed, including Joy Behar, who lived in Providence for a few years.

"We have found a very Italian group and they are hilarious and they've got big families and I'm very excited to introduce everybody," he said.
You'll have to wait a little while though, filming for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is expected to begin this summer, but no cast, locations or premiere dates have been announced.
