Although U.S. District Court Judge Richard Berman announced last week that it was not mandatory for both Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to attend this Wednesday's Deflategate hearing, the USA Today reported this morning a that Brady will be in attendance.

The move is a bit surprising given that New England is scheduled to spend the week running joint practices with the New Orleans Saints in Sulpher Springs, West Virginia as the two sides head into a second week preseason bout this weekend.

The report claims that the NFL has withheld their attendees for the hearing, but due to this latest development it would not be surprising to see Goodell enter the courtroom Wednesday as well.

Brady's involvement in last week's hearing did not effect his playing status for the Patriots' first game of the preseason and it does not look like it will change his status for week two.
