Boston Logan Airport Launches Therapy Dog Program for Travelers
This story has gone to the dogs, and I couldn't be happier.
Boston Logan International Airport has a new addition that's going to ease your travel woes and (hopefully) lower your stress.
Welcome BOS PAWS, the four-legged crew on a mission to comfort travelers coming and going in the Bay State.

“At Boston Logan, we are very focused on creating a seamless and stress-free experience for travelers from the minute they walk into our terminals,” said Massport CEO Rich Davey.

The crew consists of three trained pups who look forward to meeting travelers.
There's a Giant Schnauzer named Remington, a West Highland Terrier named Buster and a French Bulldog named Waffles. Adorable.
Easing Travel Stress, One Wag at a Time
“BOS PAWS will hopefully put smiles on the faces of many travelers and provide comfort to those who may feel anxious or stressed during their journey," Davey said. "Spend a few minutes with Waffles or Buster before your flight, you’ll love it.”

Pup Partnership
The Alliance of Therapy Dogs and Massport have collaborated to provide trained therapy dogs to enhance the overall travel experience and lower stress.
“Boston Logan Airport is often the first and last impression that millions of travelers have of Massachusetts, and now, thanks to this new program, it’s also one of the most welcoming,” Governor Maura Healey said.
Traveling can be stressful and the dogs can truly help. There have been many studies showing how calming and relaxing it can be to spend time with dogs.

We've seen therapy dogs in hospital rooms, on college campuses during finals weeks and now at our airport. Hooray!
A Welcoming First Impression for Massachusetts
“We want everyone who travels through Logan to know that we prioritize mental health here in Massachusetts," Healey said. "I want to thank Rich Davey and the Massport team, the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, and the handlers who have made this program possible."
