If you want to hang out with cats, but don't actually want to own one...this cafe in Brighton is for you!

If Gazelle's home life has turned you off of owning cats, but hanging out with some still seems like a good idea, there is actually a place to do that...not too far away.

The Purr Cat Cafe opened on Chestnut Hill Ave in Brighton about a month ago and people seem to be loving it.

Founded by Diane Kelly, who used to work in the medical field helping humans, the Purr Cat Cafe aims to help homeless cats receive food, shelter, medical care, affection and love.

The concept is pretty simple. You book a visit, head to Brighton, enjoy a hot beverage and spend time cuddling cats!

Purr has several residents cats that literally live at the cafe and just play all day.

According to Purr's website, the cats are typically shelter cats that can get some love and attention at the cafe while they await their forever homes.

And Purr gives back to the community, with 10% of profits going to local shelters to help other animals too.

Seems like the perfect place for animal lovers to grab a drink, read a book and generally just hang out with cuddly cats. Especially if you can't own a one yourself!
