Boston’s New England Aquarium Introduces Waterfront Beer Garden
The end of summer is drawing near, but luckily, there are still a few places that are keeping the summertime vibes alive.
For the first time, the New England Aquarium in Boston is serving up food and drinks with a waterfront view at its new Dockside Beer Garden.
Only in Boston can you get a bite to eat by the wharf and hang out with penguins all on the same day.
Dockside Beer Garden needs to be added to your summer to-do list before it's too late.
The outdoor beer garden is open to the public on Central Wharf in front of the Aquarium where guests can take in the views of Boston Harbor and enjoy lunch, dinner, or happy hour.
Local craft breweries, like Harpoon and Samuel Adams, can be found on the drink menu, along with freshly made cocktails and seltzers.

In collaboration with Sodexo Live!, the beer garden offers an “elevated menu”.
Start the meal with a cup of clam chowder or a fresh field berry and goat cheese salad. Chow down on a crispy ranch fried chicken sandwich, or if you’re in a rush to get into the Aquarium, grab-and-go items like watermelon cups are a perfect choice.
“Summer in Boston is synonymous with spending time by the water, and we’re excited for guests to dive into this updated menu featuring fresh, local flavors to accompany the beautiful views,” said Ryan Cummings, the Sodexo Live! Regional Vice President of Operations.
Dockside Beer Garden is open seven days a week from 12 pm to 7 pm at 1 Central Wharf in Boston.
Take advantage of the aquarium’s new feature before the colder weather arrives.
