Living in New England certainly has its perks, especially during this time of year.
Autumn really comes alive in the Northeast as the leaves start to fall and the air turns crisp and cool.
In addition to the fairs, festivals and fall flavors available, the season welcomes an experience that can be enjoyed free of charge: leaf peeping.

Massachusetts Among the Best
Some of the best leaf peeping around is just a drive away. The Berkshires in western Massachusetts ranks No. 9 on the 10 Best list.

According to the ranking, "tiny hamlets and towns that dot the region are filled with accommodations and farm-to-table eateries to round out a leaf-peeping trip."
