This Massachusetts Archaeology Fair Lets You Dig Into History
If you've ever found yourself binge-watching archaeology shows and thinking, "I could totally do that", this might be your moment.
The 1st Annual Archaeology Fair is coming to the Robbins Museum in Middleboro, and it sounds like one of those low-key cool events that end up turning your Saturday into a mini adventure.
If I'm being honest, I often nerd out over archaeology shows. There's just something about watching people explore historic sites, uncovering treasures piece by piece. Plus, with two kids once obsessed with dinosaurs, we've all wondered what might be buried under our own two feet.
This event could help us all find out.

What to Expect at the Archaeology Fair
Hosted by the Massachusetts Archaeological Society, the event aims to help kids and adults learn about the archaeology in our own backyards, from actual archaeologists. Attendees are taught how to identify artifacts and even encouraged to bring some of their own for show and tell.
Hands-On Activities for Kids and Adults
There are also hands-on activities like pottery making and a scavenger hunt with prizes, which kids will absolutely love.

Of course, with the coastline so close to home, the event even features underwater archeology exploration. Truly something for everyone's inner treasure hunter.
Event Details and How to Go
It all happens Saturday, April 25, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., which makes it a very family-friendly outing.
