Every year the 320 mile bike ride benefits an organization worthy of the cause, and this year, Mattapoisett's own "All Hands Volunteers" will be the beneficiary.

The non-profit organization is one that helps work towards creating a greener, more sustainable future and the bike-a-thon hopes to help them with that goal by raising $400,000.

The actual bike ride will take place on September 17th and end September 27th, totaling a five day bike ride.

Not only does the bike ride help support this non-profit organization but it raises awareness and gets communities involved with the cause.

Individual riders must commit to raise $2,800 by September 11th in order to participate.
