Acushnet Siblings Go Viral With Unforgettable Wedding Dance [VIDEO]
A wedding is already an emotional event, but when Chantel Moura took the dance floor at her June 21 ceremony at the Century House in Acushnet, she gave guests, and now the internet, something unforgettable.
In a now-viral TikTok video that’s racked up hundreds of thousands of views, Moura is seen dancing with her 27-year-old brother Nathan Freitas in a moment that’s equal parts heartwarming, and fun. But for Moura, it was never about going viral. It was about sharing a moment with someone who means the world to her.
“We’re two peas in a pod,” Moura said. “He’s my best friend, the light of my life, and I’d be lost without him.”
Channeling the King: A Surprise Elvis Dance
Nathan, who has Down syndrome and a deep love for Elvis Presley, helped choreograph the special dance with his sister over the course of six months. The two started with a slow number before transitioning into an upbeat Elvis routine that came complete with Nathan’s impersonation moves and signature flair.

“He has the costume, he does the impersonations, he’s a huge Elvis fan,” Moura said. “So I told him, you guide me through it.”
The routine became the highlight of the night. The dance floor filled up immediately after and stayed packed until midnight thanks to DJ Fresco. “That moment really set the tone for the whole evening,” she said.
A Sibling Bond That Goes Beyond the Dance Floor
Growing up in Acushnet, Chantel and Nathan had a typical brother-sister relationship, but their connection only deepened with age. “I never saw him as someone with a disability,” she said. “He’s just my brother, and we’ve always been close.”
Now living in Pawtucket with her husband Dylan, Chantel says this viral video wasn’t planned, and if not for her friend Candace encouraging her to post it, it might have never seen the light of day.
“I’ve never had a video blow up before,” she said. “When I woke up and saw it already had 300,000 views, and now it’s over 600,000… I was shocked. It’s been climbing every hour.”
She hopes their story encourages other couples to think outside the box when it comes to wedding traditions.
“Include your siblings, your mom, your friends or whoever means the most to you. It makes the night even more special.”
As for Nathan? He’s no stranger to the spotlight. He’s gone viral before on his own TikTok account, and when asked about this latest moment, he simply smiled and said, “It went viral because of me.”
A Decade in the Making
Chantel and Dylan met ten years ago through family and tied the knot in a place that holds extra sentimental value. You see, Chantel worked at the Century House for seven years as a server before returning as a bride.
As the newlyweds prepare for a weeklong honeymoon in Aruba, Chantel says she’ll forever cherish the moment she shared with her brother. And based on the reaction, so will the rest of us.
