NEW BEDFORD - The South End 7-Eleven is once again the subject of an armed robbery.

New Bedford Police say a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and partial ski mask entered the store just after 2:30 A.M. Thursday and asked the clerk if he could buy some cigarettes. When the clerk turned around to face the man, he claimed he had a gun in his pocket and demanded cash from the register. The clerk handed the man a small amount of money before he left the store.

Nobody was injured during the robbery.
