WAREHAM - $30,000 Of heroin and over $18,000 in cash have been seized by Wareham Police.

The Wareham Police Department says a months-long investigation led to the seizures and the arrests of 28-year-old Christine Quinn and 30-year-old Mario Ogletree, both of Wareham.

Police were checking a wooded area Thursday that detectives had learned was a location used to hide heroin that was packaged and ready to be sold at various locations in Wareham. Police found about 308 grams of heroin inside a piece of PVC pipe at the site.

Police then searched Quinn's Ladd Avenue home on a warrant, finding 20 more grams of heroin and assorted drug paraphernalia, and over $17,000 in cash.

Ogletree and Quinn had several hundred dollars in their possession at the time of their arrests. Police seized Ogletree's 2013 Nissan Altima as part of the investigation.

Quinn and Ogletree are charged with trafficking over 200 grams heroin/morphine/opium, and conspirace to violate drug laws. They were arraigned Friday in Wareham District Court.
