2017 Westport Fair Schedule

The Westport Fair 2017 is packed with fun things for the whole family to do for July 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th.

Here's what the Fair has planned:

They are open from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm on Thursday and Friday (with no admittance after 10:00 pm). Saturday gates will open at 11:00 am and there will be no admittance after 11:00 pm. On Sunday gates open at 8:30 am and there's no admittance after 9:00 pm. On top of all of these events listed below there will be antique exhibits, livestock exhibits, arts and crafts, vegetable, canning, and floral arrangements.

Starting at 6:00 on Wednesday there will be sign ups for the horse shoe tournament, only 32 teams will be allowed to sign up so get your names in quick! At 6:30 the tractor pulls will begin on the main track of the fair and the animal tent will open up. At 7:00 the horse shoe competition will begin in the center ring, as well as the chainsaw sculpter. From 7:00-11:00 the entertainment center will have the Rhode Island Rednecks performing. The last event for the night will be the Reptile and Raptor Show that starts at 8:00 in the entertainment center.

Events for Thursday will start at 6:00 with sign ups for the Garden Tractor Concrete Slab Pulls in the center ring(for kids 12 and under only!). Then at 6:30 in the animal tent  the sheep show and other animal events will take place! The concrete slab pull will also be taking place at this time for both adults and kids. At 7:00 on the main track the Mass Mini Pullers will be competing. From 7:00-11:00 the South County Line Band will be performing in the entertainment center. Then at 8:00 there will be a yo-yo, music, and dance show which will be perfect for the kids.

Friday events start at 6:30 in the animal tent with the Dairy Goats. At this time, if dairy goats aren't your thing, there will be antique farm exhibits and demonstrations in the Antique Exhibit Ring. On the main track at 7:00 the weight transfer sled contest and in the center ring, at the same time, there will be a chain saw sculpting demonstration. From 7:00-11:00 in the entertainment center a couple things will be happening, the Truue Mix Rock & Country will be happening and a mad scientist show will be starting at 8:00.

Saturday things kick off at 11:00 am in the animal tent with the rabbit and cavy show! From Noon-4:00 the Rock N Roll Hearts band will be performing in the entertainment center. Noon-5:00 there will be various tractor pulls on the pulling track. At 1:00 the Beef Cattle will be highlighted in the animal tent. Starting at 3:00 the kids garden tractor concrete slab pull will start, and remember this is for kids 12 and under only! From 5:00-7:00 the Chicken Bar-B-Que will be served, for this event you need tickets in advance. At 7:00 the weight transfer sled will start as well as the Goat Ropers Band. Starting at 8:00 the Toe Jam Puppet Band will play in the entertainment center! And at 9:00, to finish off the events, there will be a baked goods auction.

Sunday from 9:00-5:00 the S.N.E.T.P. Association will feature 8 different Pick-up Truck classes. At 1:00 the Dairy Cattle will be featured in the animal tent. From 1:00-3:00 the Lighthouse Assembly of God will be performing music in the entertainment center. At 2:00 the center ring is highlighting the kids, there will be pedal pulls at that time. Starting at 5:00 the interactive program Drums Alive will begin in the entertainment center. The weight transfer sled will begin at 7:00. At 8:00 in the center ring there will be Multi-Engine Tractor Pulling. And to end the final night from 6:00-10:00 the band Hometown Craze will perform in the entertainment center.
