12-Year-Old Skylar Has a Strong Imagination

Skylar is very friendly 12-year-old girl.  She has a good sense of humor and is loving and caring towards others.

She enjoys dancing, along with arts and crafts.  Skylar loves to sing karaoke and listen to music.  She is a major fan of animals and dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian.

Her imagination is strong, and Skylar really enjoys imaginary play.  If she could be any superhero, Skylar says she'd want to be one that was modeled after a fox.  "I just love foxes, and I want to be one," says Skylar.  She wishes she could raise a fox from when it was just a pup so she could watch it grow up and be healthy.  However, she admits that she'd also be very happy with a pet cat.

Her social workers say the pre-teen is in great health and is a good eater and sleeper.  Skylar is learning to advocate for herself and how to express her feelings when something is bothering her. Skylar thrives on positive nurturing and one-on-one attention.
