According to the latest from Rightweather.net, the nor'easter that is expected to hit Friday afternoon could leave us with up to a foot or more of snow, acompanied by high winds.

It has the potential to be one of the most severe in many years. There have been times when we have been told to brace for storms that were just not as nasty as expected, or changed course at the last minute and missed us. With all the information coming in by the hour, it looks like this is the real deal. Here on the Southcoast, we'll see at least six inches, but probably much more.

Add to that winds of 40 mph and the storm could be a very dangerous blizzard. it is probably a good idea to make plans that do not include any travel between late Friday afternoon and Saturday evening. This one may go down in history as "The Blizzard of 13." We will keep you updated.
