Back in mid-June, we announced that the Zeiterion Theater was hosting a series of summer drive-in movies and shows at the Seastreak Fast Ferry's "Whales Tooth" parking lot. It was a way for the Zeiterion to continue to entertain residents on the SouthCoast while remaining compliant to the state's COVID-19 regulations.

The drive-in entertainment was so popular that they have found a way to return for another round of fun in the fall. Today, the Zeiterion Theater announced the lineup for the fall which will feature musical acts, theatrical shows, and movies that will run from September 24 until October 31.

Some of our favorites that we have circled on the Fun 107 calendar are the Halloween-themed movies Hotel Transylvania starring Adam Sandler (October 30 at 7:30 p.m.) and the 2019 version of The Addams Family starring Charlize Theron and Snoop Dogg.

Some of the live music performances will be local musicians Craig Demelo and Rebecca Correia. Livingston Taylor will also perform at the Zeiterion drive-in.

Sound will be broadcast to each car by way of a small radio transmitter that will be able to be heard on your car radio, but for pre-and post-show hit music, you can turn us on at Fun 107.

Tickets will be sold per vehicle, $25 for movies and $50 for concerts, available in advance at https://zeiterion.org/drivein/.

Entertainment may be canceled in the event of rain, but expect plenty of crisp, autumn nights where all you need is a comfy seat in your car and a blanket to keep you cozy.

The Zeiterion is expected to expand on the fall schedule as the fall progresses.
